The Democratic Party launches PD live

pdlive

The Italian Democratic Party launched a new portal and a new app yesterday, called PD live. Both the site and App have been designed to create a new experience for all PD supporters, where they have access to the 4 major PD related publications, rss feeds, blogs from important party members,  the party's live TV channel and on demand audio video links.

The initiative has been headed by NIE (Nuove iniziative editoriali) and has been defined by the managing director of the Left Wing's most historic paper, L'Unita, Fabrizio Meli, as an "interactive square".

Paperlit has incorporated all of this content into one interface with a colorful tile user interface, where consumers can easily access all of this content from iOS and Android.

Giovanni Zorzato, developer at Paperlit, had this to day about the project,
"Our publishing partners have asked for a hybrid app since day 1 and PD live is the latest result of our work to best gather all sorts of media and to present it to a user in a tablet interface".

Paperlit and Dao Square under the guidance of NIE worked closely together to make sure the app and web experience were optimal.
